At a subatomic level this energy, consciousness or life force is nothing but a soup of energy. All living and non living things are connected through this field of energy which is the cornerstone of our existence, because everything is energy.

Energy flows from and through our human energy system, also known as chakras, which help us to be aware of how this life force is working in us mentally, emotionally and physically. This energy continues to stream through our existence as it does in the rain, clouds, rivers and all of nature.

There are seven energy systems or chakras and they correspond precisely with the major points in the endocrine system in your body.

Each energy system has a specific responsibility which controls the emotional, physical, and psychological functions of the body. By understanding how each center works, you will be able to address and heal the imbalances within you.

Third Energy Center or Solar Plexus chakra has to do with your power and identity. It is located above your belly-button and a little below your sternum.

Fourth Energy Center or Heart Chakra relates through circulation, compassion, devotion, love, and touch. It is located in the center of your chest, over the sternum.

Fifth Energy Center or Throat Chakra is to do with your inner and outer voice, the communication that helps you increase your self-awareness through self-truth.

Sixth Energy Center or Third Eye Chakra deals with your psychic power, intuition and clarity. It is found above and between the eyes in the center of your brow.

Seventh Energy Center or Crown Chakra has to do with your connection to Spirit, belief systems, divinity, revelation, pure consciousness, and self-awareness. It's found at the very top center of your head.

These energy centers have a purpose which is to support you in knowing and expressing your true identity.
