It's great fun buying bank checks online in America because there are so many exciting designs to choose from. Of course you might be the sort of person who has a favorite designer check and you stick to it - and why not. But there is also a case to be made (even if it's only in the name of fun) for having a different set every time you have to reorder checks from the printer.

Peoples' imagination is endless and what is so refreshing about the system in the US is that within the bounds of decency virtually any design is possible. Consequently some use pictures of their children or their dogs, or their favorite vacation snap to decorate their financial transactions. Others opt for one of the huge selection of checks available from the Disney collection along with other favorite cartoon characters. While others choose charity themes or religious designs. Really there is no limit to what can be found ready available and online.

But it's possible to go even further than this because you can have checkbook covers and wallets to match! Talk about designer! If you want a Pink Panther checkbook and wallet you can have it. I wonder if it will ever come to that? In my view a company that takes the lead here will soon have people clambering after their offerings - particularly the younger folk.

Talking of credit cards - we seem to be getting closer to becoming a cashless society. It would be almost impossible to buy an airline ticket without a credit card, or to make a hotel booking, let alone trying to buy anything online.
